This beautiful orchid was all by itself at the Botanical Gardens. This was my first trip and it is only April, so I know there will be more to see once the summer season gets underway. Since the orchid garden is indoors, it was easier to photograph. Outdoor foliage and flowers had not really bloomed yet. I took this photo on April 14, 218, Atlanta, GA (USA).

Hello! I have been taking photos since I was young. In 2011, an art and frame shop owner took notice of photos I was asking him to blow up for me. He thought I was selling them. At the time I was living in the DC area, so he began selling my monument photos. That is when I realized I should consider photography more seriously. I am self-taught and am always looking for that special shot. I've been lucky quite a few times. I'm a native New Yorker, but retired down in Georgia. I am new to Fine Art America and hope to upload only the very special photos in my portfolio. It will take a little time, but I hope to have new sights for you to see as I move forward.
