I was wondering why the horse was blindfolded. He would look toward me but I couldn't tell if he could see. As I found out, and you can see his beautiful black tail swishing, the blinders were to keep the flies out of his face. This was taken on July 8, 2014, Temple, GA (USA).

Hello! I have been taking photos since I was young. In 2011, an art and frame shop owner took notice of photos I was asking him to blow up for me. He thought I was selling them. At the time I was living in the DC area, so he began selling my monument photos. That is when I realized I should consider photography more seriously. I am self-taught and am always looking for that special shot. I've been lucky quite a few times. I'm a native New Yorker, but retired down in Georgia. I am new to Fine Art America and hope to upload only the very special photos in my portfolio. It will take a little time, but I hope to have new sights for you to see as I move forward.
