Artist's Description
I've lived in LA and traveled to California several times. On this last trip in May 2015, I decided I had to see the Hollywood sign. Well, was I surprised when I found out that you don't actually get close to the sign. There is a walkway in the City Centre, along Hollywood Boulevard, where you stand and take your photographs. It's the clearest view so you should have a long lens on your camera. Now there may be a way to travel to go up the mountain, but I decided this way was good enough. This was taken May 12, 2015.
(Camera Settings: Nikon D3100 - F-stop-f/5.6; exposure time-1/500 sec; ISO-100; focal length-210mm; max aperture-4.8; no flash.)

About Eileen Brymer
Hello! I have been taking photos since I was young. In 2011, an art and frame shop owner took notice of photos I was asking him to blow up for me. He thought I was selling them. At the time I was living in the DC area, so he began selling my monument photos. That is when I realized I should consider photography more seriously. I am self-taught and am always looking for that special shot. I've been lucky quite a few times. I'm a native New Yorker, but retired down in Georgia. I am new to Fine Art America and hope to upload only the very special photos in my portfolio. It will take a little time, but I hope to have new sights for you to see as I move forward. Love and peace!
