Description
The Golden Poison Frog is native to the rainforests along the Pacific coast of Colombia. They are social creatures and are most active during the daytime. These small frogs are the most deadly of the poison dart frogs. A toxin on their skin blocks victims' nerves, leading to heart failure. I took this photo on April 14, 2018, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Georgia (USA).
