Artist's Description
If you are following me, then you know that I received an orchid back in August 2017. I was told it would re-bloom, but I have a "black" thumb and can't grow anything. To my surprise, it started to bud a few days ago, and I posted that photo. Well, today it has opened! I was so thrilled! Took this photo on January 5, 2018 with my Apple iphone. Stay tuned for more updates.

Hello! I have been taking photos since I was young. In 2011, an art and frame shop owner took notice of photos I was asking him to blow up for me. He thought I was selling them. At the time I was living in the DC area, so he began selling my monument photos. That is when I realized I should consider photography more seriously. I am self-taught and am always looking for that special shot. I've been lucky quite a few times. I'm a native New Yorker, but retired down in Georgia. I am new to Fine Art America and hope to upload only the very special photos in my portfolio. It will take a little time, but I hope to have new sights for you to see as I move forward.
