I took this side view of the one of the 911 memorial pools. There are two and if you've never been there to visit, all the names of the people we lost on 9/11 are engraved on the outside of the granite enclosures. In my opinion, this memorial has the same reverance you feel when you visit Arlington Cemetery in Washington, DC. This photo was taken in New York City on August 17, 2018, 1:49 p.m.

Hello! I have been taking photos since I was young. In 2011, an art and frame shop owner took notice of photos I was asking him to blow up for me. He thought I was selling them. At the time I was living in the DC area, so he began selling my monument photos. That is when I realized I should consider photography more seriously. I am self-taught and am always looking for that special shot. I've been lucky quite a few times. I'm a native New Yorker, but retired down in Georgia. I am new to Fine Art America and hope to upload only the very special photos in my portfolio. It will take a little time, but I hope to have new sights for you to see as I move forward.
