The sun was going down after an air show on May 9, 2015. There was still a fair amount of smoke left in the sky from the airplanes, so it seemed more cloudy than it was. It covered some of the sun. See my next photo for another view as it kept coming down. Silver Comet Field, Paulding County, GA (USA).

Hello! I have been taking photos since I was young. In 2011, an art and frame shop owner took notice of photos I was asking him to blow up for me. He thought I was selling them. At the time I was living in the DC area, so he began selling my monument photos. That is when I realized I should consider photography more seriously. I am self-taught and am always looking for that special shot. I've been lucky quite a few times. I'm a native New Yorker, but retired down in Georgia. I am new to Fine Art America and hope to upload only the very special photos in my portfolio. It will take a little time, but I hope to have new sights for you to see as I move forward.
