These horses were in the field right next to the meadows where the 15th Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival was being held in White Post, VA (USA) on October 16, 2011. The balloons didn’t go up due to high winds, so I meandered around and asked about these horses. I am told they are “rescues” that the owners of the farmland have taken in.

Hello! I have been taking photos since I was young. In 2011, an art and frame shop owner took notice of photos I was asking him to blow up for me. He thought I was selling them. At the time I was living in the DC area, so he began selling my monument photos. That is when I realized I should consider photography more seriously. I am self-taught and am always looking for that special shot. I've been lucky quite a few times. I'm a native New Yorker, but retired down in Georgia. I am new to Fine Art America and hope to upload only the very special photos in my portfolio. It will take a little time, but I hope to have new sights for you to see as I move forward. Love and peace!
