Description
I tuned into a documentary on this fish in Biscayne National Park, which is located in southern Florida. When I saw it, I realized I had photos of this fish that I took at the Gatlinburg, Tennessee Aquarium, but I didn't know it's name. The lion fish on the tv was grey, but I did some research and there are colored lion fish. This Lion Fish is a threat to all the ocean life because it can eat and eat and eat and eat. It depletes the coral and other fish life, and it is poisonous! Those spikes at the back of the fish are like quills that sting. This photo was taken on December 22, 2012, Gatlinburg, TN (USA).
(Camera Settings: Nikon D3100 - F-stop-f/5; exposure time-1/60 sec; ISO-2000; focal length-35mm; max aperture-4.7; flash.)
