Best viewed large! For the last 6 years I have been trying to identify this tree. The flowers come out looking like small carnations. They are so much like tissue paper that I remember when I was young and in Girl Scouts, we made tissue paper carnations. That's what they remind me of. So my tree is beginning to bud, but, sadly, the tree will shed in May. I wish it would bloom all summer. I took this photo on March 31, 2018, Temple, GA (USA).

Hello! I have been taking photos since I was young. In 2011, an art and frame shop owner took notice of photos I was asking him to blow up for me. He thought I was selling them. At the time I was living in the DC area, so he began selling my monument photos. That is when I realized I should consider photography more seriously. I am self-taught and am always looking for that special shot. I've been lucky quite a few times. I'm a native New Yorker, but retired down in Georgia. I am new to Fine Art America and hope to upload only the very special photos in my portfolio. It will take a little time, but I hope to have new sights for you to see as I move forward.
